Given the care with which the software was built, I wonder if the hardware itself was compromised. The open hardware folks always talk about the insecurity of the closed hardware in phones; I wonder if any official narrative discussing a s

I was curious and read up on wikipedia. You left out some important facts. > The FBI classified the WUO as a domestic terrorist group, with revolutionary positions characterized by black power and opposition to the Vietnam War. The WUO

I did the same thing. So awesome. Also wrote a script to print 4 pages on each side. Saves a ton of paper, and makes it easier to absorb.

I like to think that dilemma is why Bezos has pledged a billion a year to invest in Blue Origin. Nice excuse to extract some cash without spooking the market.

I remember as a kid running into that terminology for the first time, as it related to HDDs connected to a motherboard. Didn't like it at first, still strikes me the wrong way, but does seem like the best terminology for the paradigm.

Are the police legally allowed to assault protesters "with a deadly weapon"? Otherwise, it seems like a countersuit would be in order. "Police claim they were assaulted, therefore they admit to assaulting us."

> tailoring the response to pre-existing policy preferences Well, that's true of the left as well. A "bottom-up government economic intervention" fits nicely with existing left wing ideas.

I think that the root problem that needs to be addressed is that to a lot of people, scientists and the media appear to put politics before truth. The recent hydroxychloroquine is an obvious example [1]; The Lancet should never have publish

There have already been instances of well armed African-American people openly carrying large guns forming parts of these protests. The effect? The police have known better than to respond with violence.

I think you're describing an analogue of turing-completeness. It's not (to me) a question of whether we can reason about something: it's a question of how long it takes, and how much knowledge is involved with the process.
