No one said they should. The EU should at least meet the same if not better standards. Instead they are trying to make an objectively less secure system.

Aren't reactors like that typically a proliferation risk? That might not be an issue as long as France doesn't decide to start selling its nuclear power plants to questionable countries again.

Protecting woodlands is important but cutting through woodlands for transmission lines shouldn't be a big deal. Hydro is pretty clean power so it seems silly not to bring more of that in. Plus they have already cut most of it.. "M

I think the part about how 40% of transactions SUEX is involved in are "associated with illicit actors" makes this not collective punishment.

Yeah such systems will be problematic. Those type of systems also have similar problems in cases where a certificate has been revoked. Thankfully that isn't a very big problem (at least at the moment).

DNS based amplification has been very popular for many years now. By this point if a DNS resolver is still being used by amplification no email or contacting the ISP will do anything as they have received many other similar emails.
