Wouldn't that end up slowing down the whole system from writing to a file though?

While you can definitely manually pipe all of the pieces together and have a functioning system, it's significantly easier, and likely more secure, to use the battle-tested auth library of a framework. One could also use the builtin la

You shouldn't be rolling your own authentication. That's just asking for trouble. I don't have experience with those frameworks, but the rails equivalent, devise, is very good. I assume it's the same for any mature frame

Wish the checkboxes weren't disabled. You can give this a run in console to enable them all (If you trust random code): document.querySelectorAll('input:disabled').forEach((el) => el.disabled = false)

Most of the other articles I saw when I googled "51% attack doge" said that this was unlikely, and that it had the 3rd most hashing power among crypto, mainly because of it being mined with litecoin. Saying it would be trivial to

If they dump their coins the price will certainly be going down to 0. Is there any historical data on these wallets you're aware of? I'm curious how many people have sold off their holdings. it seems odd to me that so many holders

Perfect shitpost. Really though, I don't buy into nfts one bit since they seem unproductive and the only interesting thing that can be done with them is trade them. In their current state, I don't see much use in buying them outsi

Big fan of MikroTik myself, but the scripting language can be pretty finicky and has a somewhat steep learning curve. I won't claim I've mastered it, but after a couple of months of working with it, I still feel handicapped by the

Agreed, I never read any of Bentham's work, but Michel Foucault's "Panopticon" was the first thing I thought of. Everything we do online's being processed and potentially stored, and while we may know what's co

An eavesdropper who overhears a password just has the password, but an eavesdropper who overhears a hash and a salt now has to run a dictionary attack which might only have a 99% chance of recovering the password. In the first case, there&
