As exposed in the recent indictment, their analytics submits everything you do in Edge with your unique ID to them, so they can track every site you visit and everything you do on them, down to hotel reservations. Windows and everything els

From the commit: The last compiler update unfortunately does not work on mips64el, with clang 22 built with clang 19 being apparently functional, but clang 22 rebuilt with the previous clang 22 hitting deterministic SIGSEGV on

Yes, I'm assuming it must be implemented on purpose unless it broke everything, and monitored for unused addresses. Could be some funnyman trying to reimplement ettercap.

This report seems almost naive to me. Huge LLMs like this seem to have various assistant personas they roleplay as, and mirror the user quite closely (the system prompt instructs it repeatedly to adapt to the user).

I doubt it, Claude tends to mirror my usage of slurs (and I have memory off). Grok, on the other hand, will lecture for several paragraphs even if I just ask it to summarize something impolite.

Based on the source country distribution I'd say it's more likely the standard Android residential VPN SDKs embedded in free apps.

Gemini is absurdly bad with hallucinations, I don't understand why they don't just let people get the SynthID results directly instead of piping them through Gemini.

Looks much more Yandex-like than Pinterest-like, but I guess saying Google is ripping off a rival search engine would be bad.

Not in Wayland, the whole point of Wayland is to make stuff the X server + compositor + various other bits into the window manager.

Did you actually manually review the 600k lines of code? And the reason LLMs tend to produce such insanely large codebases is partially what the comment you're replying to explained, they duplicate everything all over the place.

There's tons, Parakeet was the last I remember seeing which seemed to gain traction (independent lightweight implementations etc).

Yes, this is something almost all other anti-bot/fraud prevention solutions already does, and there are already bypasses developed simulating human mouse movement. I expect this will be effective for maybe a day.

there are already stuff to trick mouse movement profiling, since its used by other bot protection stuff.
