Net neutrality, as promoted by this article's author, requires the elimination of an open Internet because it requires a central authority which will determine who can charge what and what they can charge for.

I wish people would stop using that title. They seem to think it is a clever click-grabber, which is probably true for most people, but for those even remotely familiar with the book, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: An Inquiry i

You're right: Going somewhere full of tech geeks and discussing the finer points of English should be expected to whoosh right over their heads and anger them. Clearly the issue is that whooshes right over your and sundry down-voter&#x

You read past the part where I described receiving mails. It sounds like you have never used the service, so have no idea what I'm talking about, so have no idea what you're talking about.

When using the lists feature, an alias address can be created user@example.com. Then, you can add email addresses to the list. Unfortunately, the emails are sent from the original address, so if that is user@yahoo.com, and since yahoo.com h

Maybe this means Mailgun lists feature will be friendly to DMARC? It was such a great solution for domains not really requiring a mail server for inbound mail, that is, until everyone started caring about p=reject (well, except for Gmail -

This is not the material used in the enlisted program when I went through it. I specifically recall reading about quarks and spin in the physics text book because they were not in the notes or TGOs even though they influence decay. Quarks a

Okay, this makes more sense. The problem is that the spillways will fail in the sense that the downstream capacity cannot handle the volume of flow, so will flood those regions, as well as possibly flood areas not typically even near water

The dam is the earth type of dam, but the portion the spillway is on is not part of the dam, at least as I am looking at it in Google Maps: https://www.google.com/maps/@39.5400137,-121.4931958,3617m/d...

I can understand those concepts just fine, but when I look at the dam in Google Maps, it is not clear to me how this is specifically going to occur. The main spillway is on the hillside next to the dam, and the emergency spillway is on the

Is there an article discussing the dangers of continuing to use the main or emergency spillways? I'm not clear on why the downstream destruction is so dangerous. (And I apologize if it's completely obvious, maybe I'm just den

The rule for backups is that if you haven't successfully performed a complete restoration from backup, then you have no backup. Same principle seems to apply to spillways.

I really thought they had a blog post somewhere or maybe a tweet or something stating they were planning to support a vm, but I'm failing to find the link. Maybe I'm remembering incorrectly. In any case, they do have a forum secti

This statement is usually made without any substantive evidence to support it, primarily because every monopoly, in practice, can only truly be a monopoly when the government mandates it. When firms are forced to compete on the open market,

Clearly, the statement was in regards to paying less in taxes, which is what was specifically mentioned. Being suspicious of taxation does not translate to exclusively wanting to pay less in taxes.
