Enjoy! This year one of my favorite crops has been carrots-I have never grown them before for just that reason. My first bite was an eye opening experience. I had no idea that there could be so much more flavor.

Interesting! I was having a conversation last weekend with a friend when I asked "How many objects can you count without counting, you just know the answer". I didn't know the name for it. For me the answer is three, four if

Regarding your last point, sometimes I will say "the stupidest thing that could possibly work". This is an idea that could work, but has serious and obvious flaws. I find that once a team gets used to it, saying out loud a stupid

I suppose that could be in seaweed caviar's favor - if they all taste, smell, and look different, maybe it can fit right in?

Oh, good point. I looked at the wrong map. I was looking at the mercury contamination map on the Wiki page; which is based on 1999 data.

That map is also 20 years old. Edit: I looked at the wrong map.

Be careful dropping glass bottles into recycling bins too; they pose nearly the same problem - they don't usually shatter and the sound escapes the bin upwards towards you.

Sure, that may be the cause. My theory has been that the paper to wet matter ratio is high in the paper direction, causing a wicking effect that dries the bin contents quickly.

It is customary to put the dirty side down or to fold the dirty paper in half.

I have, and I live in the US and continue to do so. The small bin doesn't seem to smell, and is easy to tie the bag and toss it in the trash bin. I haven't had to unclog a toilet in years.

A couple times in a hurry when I can't get any help, I've cut it myself and taken a picture of the sku on the shelf. That seemed to get me through checkout.

It is most similar to the effect of electrostatic charges. The effect of a point charge is the inverse square of distance, the effect of a line charge is the inverse of distance, and the effect of an infinite plane has no relation to distan

My number one complaint of shopify is that they require email first to see shipping, which means I'll get a "what's wrong? Forgot your cart?" Email later that day.

They would get a paper map? You can buy, print, or draw maps.

It is the same result as infinite planar light sources or infinite planar electrostatic charges. Move the test particle a small delta above or below the napkin, and the result will become apparent.

I would like to add control-g to the list. It is frustrating for new emacs users that it can be easy to get stuck. Control-g is the general "quit" which will get you back to editing text from most annoying situations.

I would say that it doubles the cost of backups, but using this math, we start with one copy plus one backup, and add a second backup; that means only a 50% increase.

I worked on a data logger project that required solar power in the mountains. We had to size the batteries for the longest expected run of cloudy days, then size the solar panel to be able to nearly charge the battery bank in one day, since

I have had good luck in the battle against aphids on my kale by spraying them with a (1:1) mixture of 70% rubbing alcohol and water with a small amount of dish soap (I use about one sponge load worth in a full spray bottle).
