I ask Google Assistant the weather every night just to get it to turn on the little LEDs. They light up the room enough to see where I am walking.

I have been thinking that a killer zoom product would be a USB controller for an rgb led strip that helps match color with your virtual background.

The Bay Area is a mixed bag for tap water. Some of the East Bay has great tap water, while head down to San Jose and you can only get worse by driving much farther south.

I think of this as "non causal debouncing". You debounce before the event happens.

You don't have to leave tech entirely. I very much feel that the medical devices I write software for matter.

Tesla might not have advertisements on TV or radio, but it is not a coincidence that luxury malls have prime parking dedicated to Tesla chargers, that they have prominent show rooms and that their CEO is always getting in the news.

I get the newspaper delivered. That way I can look at it once a day and get a concise summary. The rest of the time I don't need to consider it.

I would not count on it. There are other coronaviruses and we don't have vaccines for them. Of course I'm hopeful, but not ready to count the chicken here.
