You don't need 4k for that, just lens-shift. Most mid-range 1080p projectors have at least vertical lens-shift these days, and even low end 4k projectors are still >$1000

There's a Garmin app that connects with Sleep as Android, although I haven't had good luck with it on my Fenix watch. https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/e80a4793-f5a3-44c7-bd7f-5...

I feel like this is generally fair, but things that get pushed back from one patch to the next shouldn't count as broken promises. It seems disingenuous to count "3.2 didn't have mining, it's been pushed to 3.3" on

I think as long as two systems aren't playing the same copy at the same time, they wouldn't do any banning. So lending and rentals should still be acceptable.

It's really the natural outcome of any "X Alternative" site. Anyone that gets banned from X goes to the alternative, and anyone else has no reason to go, because X still works for them. So X Alternative fills up with horrible

What do you mean? DDG uses the Bing api for its results, not Google.

I don't think toolz was trying to say "boys will be boys", I think toolz was saying we should try to fix society, rather than pretend this is only a problem in tech

I had to clean up after the mess Infosys made of a client's code a few years ago. It was horrible. There were few comments, most of them made little sense, and the code was a spaghetti mess. A complete rewrite would have been cheape

Beyer Dynamics Dt770 is extremely comfortable, but you'll need an amp. The isolation isn't quite as good as the HD 380 Pro. The ATH-M50 is a popular choice, but I haven't personally tried them.

Sennheisers tend to clamp down pretty hard. Especially the 280's and 380's. Maybe another brand would work better.

Companies love to use sharepoint for this. There's decent integration with MS Office, but it's still huge pain to use. Usually it involves multiple full time sharepoint "developers" to make it do what you want.

Have a look at the Xperia Z3 Compact. Sony seem to be the only ones that care about battery life at this point.

CGI Federal is run mostly independently to get around the laws preventing foreign companies from bidding on US government contracts. Source: I used to work there.

Back in the 2.3 days, Android had OpenVPN support (or maybe it was just a CyanogenMod feature). I wish that would come back.

You still have the radio firmware, which is closed source and can't be changed. That's where I'd expect snooping back doors to be located.

The initial flip isn't animating correctly every time in Firefox. Half the time it flips over too quickly to see any animation. Flipping back to the original content looks alright though.

Ah, I see. I use Arch on Digital Ocean, and I've had a pretty good experience, aside from their initial image being a bit old (I had to change its settings to use netcfg and systemd).

The big problem with C99 was that MS refused to implement it. If C11 is going to take off, it will depend on MS updating their C compiler. Previously they have said that they don't support C development on Windows except on the device dri
