Why create an offensive tool rather than a repo-scanning tool? I can't think of any way to safely release an offensive tool publicly.

> not a crazy hard problem Saw the one video linked here comparing other existing transport ratios, and asking for double that is 'not crazy hard'? It certainly sounds like a challenge.

OpenAI hasn't released open weights since GPT-OSS-20/120B. Google has the Gemma line. I wouldn't expect OpenAI to start releasing open weight competitive models again, but I could be wrong.

I don't agree with the conclusion at all. I can see the value of RTK - whether it is buggy or vibe coded is kind of secondary. That basically comes down to how severe and often the bugs are. There's no gamification of savings here

This site is pretty heavily sandbagged with bots on political topics, par for the course to see this here nowadays.

I agree for casual usage, but this seems targeted towards enterprise setups, which makes much more sense to use something like ElasticSearch if you're already in the Amazon cloud, and especially if using the advanced features it provid

Why? You keep posting this. What's it for? Who wants this? What does it accomplish? It's a vibe-coded remote console renderer. I don't get why you're posting it.

Framing what's happening as simply 'removal of DEI' is horrifically out of touch with reality.

The appeal is solar power efficiency gains. And yes it is a notable amount of extra mass, but not a deal-breaking amount. Latency is pretty minimal regardless of location (sub-100ms) which is not nothing but it's minor for things like

If you want frontier-level, the economically reasonable option is OpenRouter or a direct sub to frontier-of-your-choice. The reality is that they do not offer configurations that would allow a consumer to run that much VRAM on a single setu

Ya that'd be an awesome project, the only issue is how do you verify it's not being poisoned? To actually validate it would require more analysis than the training took to run. It would require a trusted network, not an open one,

Your hostility isn't helping things either. "You've been here long enough to understand" followed by an incorrect usage of "goal post moving" makes you look like an agitator.

Being able to run the 12B on 8gb VRAM is huge. It's crazy to see how fast these small local models have evolved.
