There's a phenomenon known as Polling Drift where the 2x-per-frame input polling at 120 Hz is mismatched with the NTSC framerate that's 0.1% slower, leading to a variable 0-0.5 frame input lag. This can be patched out. Additionall

Just have shift on a thumb key so it's easy to hold when you need it.

I've read that lye-based soap will attack the seasoning coating, but modern hand-safe dish soap will not.

Very glad I ordered my Framework with the 1240P. The performance benefits of the higher-end parts seem dubious.

Neutron degenerate matter still interacts in ways other than gravity, it just interacts with non-electromagnetic forces like the Strong force.

If it pivots the whole camera assembly, that should reduce the "wobbly corners" effect.

> Incidentally, the fastest typers don't use a rigid key-to-finger mapping for ths reason too; they tend to use the closest finger that's available. Only on QWERTY. On Dvorak there's a very rigid mapping and it very evenly

The point of GPL-alikes is to ensure user freedom: that the user can modify the code of any software they use. If a company is intolerant of this, then the AGPL is intolerant of that company.

It's only not welcoming to those who wish to close the source. It's the paradox of tolerance: you must not tolerate those who find others intolerable.

I wonder why this is true when their iOS touchscreens are very responsive.

I log all my subscriptions and other periodic income/expenses and keep track of my daily net income... when you look at the impact a subscription makes per day it makes you very wary of them.

We already switched from Teensy 3.2 to Teensy 4 because 3.2s are unobtainable. RP2040 is what we're looking at but it has ADC issues apparently. We're going to try though.

The Teensy 3.2 was fast enough; we're running matrix math for remapping the stick gates and a modified Kalman filter at 1000 Hz, and bitbanging the GameCube protocol meanwhile. Teensy 4 is overkill and we've been clocking them at

The custom gamecube controller project I'm on ( https://github.com/PhobGCC ) has clobbered the supply of Teensy 4 microcontroller boards. We already redesigned to switch away from Teensy 3.2, which had production suspend

I had built a homemade rectangle last year and switched fully, but the Phob has me back on the sticks, especially now that I got the opportunity to try it (I wrote the filter without having any controllers on hand).

I'm on the PhobGCC project (I wrote the snapback filter), it's pretty exciting where things are going. Finally people are going to have controllers that will last.

This probably is a difference in PoV based on how many of your elections are multi-winner versus single-winner. I was mostly thinking about single-winner elections because the big headline elections in the US are all single-winner.

There's a lot of low hanging fruit out there, you just have to recognize it or be lucky enough to stumble facefirst into it. I recently joined a budding open-source project (PhobGCC, a custom gamecube controller), saw that it was using
