Just because it's the user's fault, doesn't mean the user won't waste apple's time trying to fight for a new phone.

Honestly, people shouldn't click the unsubscribe links anyway. Spammers use that as a way to make sure people are actually reading their emails.

I don't think it's just technical queries. I have to look up a bunch of tech and nsfw stuff, and when google tries to think for me, it ends up going to shit. I usually end up just "searching" "like" "thi

I remember hearing people were super-excited about it, and I kept thinking "It's a theme-customizer for your web-browser. Neat, but why is everyone going crazy for it? What's the big deal?" Sadly, I never looked into it

To be fair, I think schools encourage this sort of behavior. I've had countless "$x number of words/pages, minimum" writing assignments. Eventually, you start to be convinced that every teacher wants it that way.

This is why I've been working with rpi/arduino stuff: I can build it myself. Sure, it's more work, but the pre-built options all suck, as far as I've seen. I used to always follow the newest automation releases, but I ga

I would like to interject: This heavily depends on the boss. I've seen great bosses who will make stuff like this happen, and I've seen terrible bosses who don't give a shit. Make sure you work for the right-kind of boss if y

This is why I hate "all-in-one" systems. Systems that try to do it all, end up being hard to work with, and just introduce multiple points of failure. IMO, it's better to decouple systems and have each of them do one job, and

Personally: ConnectBot has weird formatting issues, problems with keyboard input, and doesn't play nice with tmux. Ultimately it's what I use because it's the most tolerable, but I've yet to find a good Android ssh cli

AFAIK, JuiceSSH is still closed-source, which means I and a lot of others won't be using it. AFAIK, there's no good ssh clients for android, only tolerable ones. I'd love to be proven wrong about that though.

You'd be surprised how low people are willing to go in a tough economy. I think the bigger issue is also that techs aren't given a fair-income, especially at places like Amazon, because of the H-1B scam. If you are young and tryin
