How about you just press up arrow to recall the previous command, ctrl-A to go to the beginning of the line, and then type "sudo "? It's the same number of keystrokes as typing "sudo !!". And I'm sure you can use something other than up arr

It's perfectly reasonable. There is already an interface for recalling previous commands, and an interface for editing the command line. Combining them to issue a variation of a previous command is the logical thing to do. Having a complete

The main thing I wish I had known is that the ORM is rather limited (or, at any rate, it was too limited for my app), and while you can use raw SQL, it won't let you get model objects out of your own queries, which makes it impossible to in

This would be used in a chosen plaintext attack, right? If you saw a ciphertext C1 with IV1, and you were able to choose the following Pj and predict the corresponding IVj, then you could verify whether the plaintext of C1 was P1~ by choosi

IVs are not really meant to be secret, IIRC. They're just meant to be different each time, to avoid getting the same cypher text if you have to encrypt another plaintext that begins with the same block.

Frankly, you sound very similar to those homosexuals with strongly traditional religious beliefs who try to purge themselves of their "twisted" part.

The factors explained in the article definitely have to do with most game developers being childless, male 30 year olds. They have nothing to do with race: I see no reason why a black or asian 30 year old childless man with a passion for ga

I think ST2's chrome is functionally bad, rather than aesthetically, and I'm not sure it can be fixed with themes. The way the sidebar and the tab bar interact to show which document is active can be extremely confusing.

If you have multiple programs writing to the same terminal, their write calls can get interleaved. To ensure that a single echo command's output remains unbroken, it should be output using a single write call. GNU relies on stdio's bufferin

In 2001, minimum wage was $5.15/hr. 5.15 * 40 * 52 = 10712 for a full-time minimum wage job if you work every week. In 1990, with $3.80 minimum wage, that would have been 7904. I think your calculations are wrong.
