This story is really interesting to me. Clearly, it’s to give people a sense of security and calmness given a potential virus outbreak. But also feels like government PR to other governments, with a message of “If you’re trying something, w

Their product is built on the Slack platform. They probably need (and want) to be paid users if not for anything more than having a better understanding of their customer. Why you’d start (and fund?!) a business built entirely on a “hip” ch

Crazy, I thought I deleted Zoom months ago but somehow I already have this update. What great news!

This looks well packaged, and I can see the argument that it may be easier to use than the competition. But how do you plan to make money? I’m looking for a model that isn’t “we sell data on our customers”, which I see is prohibited based o

Note that there are ~360,000 babies born everyday. On average today, 70% of Americans live to the age of 65. That rate varies greatly from country to country, but let’s assume that due to improvements in medical science and wealth, the like

10,000 years from now, society has been destroyed. And people come across a glass plate with laser etchings. How bummed will they be when they go through all of the effort of decoding it, only to learn it's like some python library for

I've been a huge Gitlab supporter for the past 5 years, and we have all of our repos there. Have had their paid service for a while. This feels gross, and I'm going to look at moving.

Is anyone familiar enough with Medium to know why someone would publish their blog on the platform, and lock users behind a paywall in order to read their blogposts? Do they get a cut? I'm not even sure of price, but just see a screen
