Not the person you asked, but: 1Password which I like, and Lastpass which I don't, both do domain matching in the browser extension. All iOS password managers that integrate into the system do domain matching as well.

And yet my RPi4 can't get more than 9.1MB/s over ssh when wired to cat5e, or 17.14MB/s over netcat. I know the connection is good as testing with my laptop I can get gigabit speeds, but the pi insists on being sluggish.

Hi Hackbraten, Sorry to go off topic here but you asked me here: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=25184350 if I wanted to talk about why I feel homebrew behaves in a user hostile way. I didn't see your reply in tim

Up until recently, you could also read the contents of the files after getting the inode number, I got that fixed in Catalina. Good times.

What kettle/device are you using that boils when the power comes on without having to press a button manually? Every single kettle I've looked at requires pressing a button to start a boil "for safety".

I'm pretty sure the problem is that the "portable dumper" that replaces the dumpster fire that was unexec is not in fact portable across architectures.

As a diehard Firefox user, it has never been competitive with safari when it comes to performance. JavaScriptCore and WebKit are kind of ridiculously fast. If only they were put in a browser that was at all usable.

Lucky that you can install homebrew into your home directory with no admin rights then!

So, it sounds like you might be talking about command+tab since the application is changing (comamnd+tilde does windows in the same application) so if you want to unminimize the application, you hold option while releasing the command key.

I could say the same for android 11: screen recording, and centralized home automation control are old news for iOS users.

So? Apple has a monopoly on Apple products? Big deal. Ford has a monopoly on Ford trucks, Sony has a monopoly on playstations.

No, it's why apple shouldn't allow notifications from the web. People are already drowning in notification spam from native apps. To the point where Apple has added three different ways the OS prompts you to disable notifications.

No, the reason these articles keep popping up recently is that iOS added a visible notification that it was happening. Both android and iOS apps have done this for ages: https://www.howtogeek.com/680147/psa-all-apps-can

That's likely an issue with iMazing not properly handling apple's saved ui state mechanism. You could try checking if holding the option key reveals a "quit and close all windows" option in the app's eponymous menu
