No. The JWST is about a million miles away from earth. It is only 6.5 meters wide. tan = 6.5 meters / 1M miles = 4.03891275 × 10-9 2.31×10^-7 degrees The Hubble can resolve 1/10th of an arc second or 2.78×10^-5 degre

An additional starboard/port issue is right of way for sailboats. Suppose that you're going upwind and two close hauled boats are crossing. Who has right of way? When boats are on opposite tacks, a port-tack boat shall keep cl

Yeah, I worked in the typewriter factory . I think I was there for a month before I was allowed to go to lunch by myself because otherwise I'd get lost in its labyrinthine corridors.

Hell yes. This is akin to offering an 'internship' without paying. Internships should be paid. They should pay Social Security tax as well. Not paying founders is just a tactic to burn them out and push them out. It doesn't h

I'm only talking about the purpose of the 8086 as a stopgap for the very late 432. I shouldn't have mentioned the 8088.

No, I meant the 8086. The iAPX 432 project was started in 1975 but wasn't released until 1981. The 432 was late, very late, and so Intel needed a stopgap product. That was the 8086, started in 1975 and released in 1979.

The ambitious 432 was also late, quite late. So Intel needed a simple stopgap product which was an iteration of the 8088, the 8086.
