Nothing new hear in this well produced video championing LIDAR. Tesla now suffers from a toxic brand way worse for its future than missing lidar.

I havent had a successful use of whois in probably over a decade. What was once a useful tool was destroyed by spammers harvesting email addresses and privacy oriented registrars. I won't even notice its gone

Why do we need a pharmacy when it can be delivered by postal mail. I for one welcome our postal overlords. Is it not self serving for the JAMA to fund a study on a lack of pharmacies but not on, say, medical incompetence, fraud, or corruptio

Yes I want fantasy unicorns too. Until then let's APPLAUD people not being killed in a protest, m'kay? Non lethal force is a good alternative, even when used for evil purposes.

Whoa, great tangent. I'm saying I'd rather see people robbed of their human rights by non lethal force over lethal force. There's * dozens* of mass killings that prove its not uncommon. You have some wingnut tangent about Ukr

And what do you think they were implying ? A world of fairies and unicorns where protests are tolerated and bad guys just retire to Dubai ?

I would prefer protesters not be killed by oppressive governments. I guess you prefer tanks and guns. Feel free to make an argument.

Every dictatorship claims to be a democracy, and your attempt to call BS on it will go nowhere. What point am I missing? Protest is a prelude to violence (or regime change) as much as an alternative.

A good security model doesn't let stupid people do stupid things with warnings. Stupid people ignore warnings. A good model protects stupid people from themselves. A password model that says "you MUST have a strong password"

Yet you pay for Netflix and your internet and phone bill. But these could be given away by surveillance advertising firms to snoop your watching, surfing, and calling habits. As the saying goes, if the product is free, YOU are the product.

Browsers aren't a product because massive companies give it away and destroy the market. If any product was given away by massively rich companies there would be "no market" for it, because it was destroyed .

Given the dreadful state of public health this is a total fail. Epidemic obesity alone is a nightmare: heart disease, cancer, stroke, you name it. Trump, to his credit, is taking fentanyl seriously but heart disease is a bigger killer.

I wish they'd comment on how their service keeps leaking massive amounts of data that isn't supposed to. Didn't Microsoft blame their customers for not running updates and using AV? Gosh I guess MS did a fine job. Customers w

A real user might be worse. A program is less flexible (maybe) and more consistent (definitely) than a meat space CBL. The goal is not realism but a kind of ready made "you must be this tall to ride the rollercoaster" threshold. D
