Hmm. I've had my picture on the CV (SO careers profile basically) and had no problems. But, my GF has been applying for jobs for over a month now without any luck. She also has a picture on her CV but she is not in IT (more like admini

Bollocks. My gf and I are currently living off of my 40k since she's unemployed. In zone 2. It's totally doable and you'll have money to spare if you're alone with that kind of salary.

I really don't understand how somebody could consider that to be OK. There's not even any logic (as far as I can tell) behind how it works. To me it appears as if it's randomly assigning font sizes to different DOM elements ...

The last one is great. The first is a bit better than Chrome's but not by much. But I'll wait until they sort out the performance issues.

Has anybody tried this out on Hacker News? How does it display comments? The current (previous?) version handled this beautifully and was pretty much the only reason I used it as my default browser (chrome for instance is a total and utter

The fact that you don't have a degree shouldn't be a problem (even if it's listed as a requirement). At least I hadn't any problems (living in Slovenia, moving to London). However, if you don't know how to do stuff then you'll just have to

Depends, some companies responded in matter of hours, some in a couple of days. Some didn't respond at all (or they will eventually). So after that we usually setup a quick phone chat the same or next day. And if all went well we continued

It would be even better if it worked the other way around. Tell Chrome where my files are and it would watch them for changes. That way I can use my favourite editor/IDE and get the features you described.

I'm a Slovenian currently looking for a job in London. As far as I can tell there are many "direct" job postings. You just have to look a bit: http://www.cwjobs.co.uk/ http://roundabout.io/ http://workinstartups.com/ http://www.gumtr

The problem is that many many "developers" think that jQuery is a language. Just browse stack overflow and you'll see. This "developers" couldn't get a element from the DOM with JavaScript if you threw document.getElementById in their face.

I like this! One problem though: if I click a notification for gmail (probably others too) it opens a new tab. I already have gmail opened (I have it pinned), can you please use my existing tab to open the email in (or make it configurable)
