weebmaster tools reports 10-20x grater response time than it actually is for one of the pages I maintain (haven't checked the others). So I would also conclude that it measures the time until every last CSS,JS and iframe is loaded. And that

I think it actually requires some kind of a talent to design something like this. Not a useful talent, but a talent non the less.

I was thinking the same. Also, all kind of bets among friends could be quickly resolved with this service. There are really infinite use cases here (you could check the weather with this for instance), not to mention the "dark" side ... you

It's a pity he didn't throw Silverlight into the mix, it would make an even cooler benchmark.

I agree with you! And on that note I would like to see more articles that describe problems that NoSQL stuff is good at. This is probably the main reason why there is so much confusion. Everybody is talking about how great cassandra/mongodb

I'm based in Slovenia. IE (all versions) has 46.00% share on one of our webpages (one of the biggest in Slovenia), IE6 has 23.98% share (inside the whole IE share).

The majority of IE6 are "corporate" users, yes. But there is still a great deal of home users who just don't know better. I realize those users don't know what a browser is, the email would try to explain that. Advocating for enabling windo

I couldn't agree more. I can't imagine how many hours of clean-up it will take for all the webmasters to clean vendor prefixed properties out of their CSS files once browsers drop them.

I don't see how this will affect anything. Those who are still using IE6 had plenty of time to upgrade to IE7/8, what makes you think that once IE9 comes along, everybody will suddenly upgrade?

I’m here to talk to you about why they’re great, and how this is probably Microsoft’s greatest contribution to mankind, ever. This is just a stupid remark to make, I don't think I have to explain why.

Looks nice. I've noticed that sometimes when I click to create a new note a previously created note gets the loading gif and a new note is not created. When I click again, a new note is created. I'm using Chrome 5.0.342.5 dev on Windows.

Spoiler alert: if entering your name into google yields (on the first three pages) results about you, your online identity is good, otherwise it is not. I can only assume that this is useful only for people that are not able to come to that

You can implement that with regular HTML/Canvas/SVG on-top of the video. That's the beauty of the whole thing. I do wonder if full-screen will be supported someday.
