BS from google I assume: most of the spam I m getting has "unsubscribe" links on storage.googleapis.com reporting to google? well, they don't give an f , same spam email comes again and again

You can export/import the group policies via the LGPO tool so to quick restore them in anycase, like eg total re-installation. I also use batch files for my re-installs, apps/utils installation via scoop ( https://scoop.

Bad? Depends what version of windows you are running.. eg enterprise 11 (or even better 10 LTSC) with custom group policies + uninstall the apps you don't need, there are no ads. btw I am on linux now, mainly because I can't toler

There is `Mutt` console email, linux mainly , on windows under cygwin, alas does not deal well with HTML emails, it can be connected to Gmail anyway.

I would say check first how easy is to access the remote storage, eg S3 on amazon is not block storage, needs work to setup etc.

30 years ago, when I worked at a computer shop, the manager had an original Atari ST game with a bad disk. He didn't want to throw it away, so I reformatted the disk and copied a cracked version of the game onto it using XCopy on Amiga
