Love them. I would pay for them myself, if I had to even though pricing would translate to a considerable amount in my country, its worth it. Hope their new venture, Spaces, take off.

I'm probably sure this is response to the AWS Reinvent announcments on the front page. Not that I work on AWS, but we heavily use and rely on it. The ones comparing AWS to VPSs even colocation think AWS is just short sighted. If VMs an

I went to summer house to work and got my old Linux with me. For 10 days, I was out of internet bc wifi driver (obscure brand) was also broken. It was very frustrating, now I know why!

Last Kubecon in person was exactly like this page, few interesting talks, lots of vendor pitch and them trying to convince cloud native is opposite of vendor lock-in. Yeah, maybe for things like OpenTracing where you can have multiple expor

Libvirt is really nice. For linux, I also recommend reading the man page of Qemu directly to learn more about internals, it helped me understand a lot. Of course you have to take care networking, disk management on your own but it can be re

I made a pink heart with an FPGA for my girlfriend who had a VGA/VHDL assignment. Having only limited knowledge as a CS 2nd year student, I wrote hundreds of ifs to generate it but at least I generated those ifs by Java, wasting a lot

It feels like a huge hassle for a small business. Use a cloud, it's not that expensive. If, not even using a cloud is an option, you can still mount NFS, use a bridged network and use DHCP from that router, and run your software in sys
