SMS doesn't have to be the lowest common denominator, it's not a binary option between SMS or everybody having U2F devices. In Denmark there's something called NemID [1], which is basically just a credit-card sized piece of p

That got me thinking, are there any efforts to replace tar? A single unified directory structure does seem like a desirable feature, I'm sure it'd be possible to find other improvements to make in tar. I wonder if anybody is worki

OT, but I'm curious what are the scenarios in which somebody (except keybase.io) can lock me out of my account? If I understand keybase correctly, if somebody were to say deploy some malware on my computer, thereby getting both my pass

Offtopic, but that website header sure is distracting, on my laptop it uses 266 out of the 633 vertical pixels space I have for the page. http://imgur.com/SRkTL5w

Good counterpoint, I don't have an answer for you, you'd need somebody who supports curtailing civil liberties in order to combat terrorism to give an answer to that.

Terrorism can happen to anybody, that's the logic behind the asymmetry. "Regular" people see gang violence as something that can never happen to them.

Oh really? When I think about it, it is the same credit card I've used to pay for everything for many years. Next time I'll try to pay with my backup card and see if the UI is any different. Thanks for the tip.

Denmark censors a lot more than just TPB, though it is probably the one website that causes most people to circumvent the censorship. In Denmark it all started out with blocking child porn sites, then it was expanded to copyright infringeme

That makes it somewhat misleading when the article says the game has 121 million players. I somewhat doubt 121 million people play the Windows 10 version. I wonder if the journalist even knows the difference.

Lego and IKEA were only there because they represented the rivalry between Denmark and Sweden. But I do find it interesting how Tesla and Space X fans are so dedicated that they'd be willing to fight for them.
