I'm pretty sure the cap is one hour and even if its not if he wanted to lock it for 5 hours he would have to wait 1 hour to try again and then 2 hours and then 3, etc.

Looks very nice and I will definitely be using this for quick encryption of files. Would suggest that you make it into a chrome app so people can automatically encrypt their gmail and hotmail emails.

I doubt google will actually delete the data. It makes me angry to know that google went into my neighbourhood and stole data of my neighbours that forgot to protect their wireless or don't even know what that means.

No. Many sites paying for hosting serving static pages go down by being on the front of HN so I doubt a free ec2 instance could out preform a paid one. It's like asking if a gameboy can play battlefield 3.
