'Sharp spike' is relative. Look at the numbers; Mr. Winiarz is going from 6.55% to 2.69%. If a 'sharp spike' doubled his interest, he's still paying less interest than he was on the Fed's legislatively-fixe

The second sentence of this article is false. When the lede contains blatant errors, that's your signal, as a reader, to stop reading.

It exists; when I was in grade school (in the 90s) we learned about the Food Pyramid. As I recall, the base (and thus, the thing I should be eating the most of) was grains, and the top (the thing I should eat the least of) was sugar.

You suggest that it's important for junior tech professionals to try and answer their own questions with, e.g., Google. But I feel like every other month I see somebody talking about all the bad habits developed by people who trust W3S

"Just raise the price" is an appropriate response to demand for a commodity, but it's an inappropriate response to these scenarios. For example: PAX is trying to build a community event. The target demographic is not "we

I believe the Springsteen song you're thinking of is "Johnny 99": "Your honor, I do believe I'd be better off dead / So if you can take a man's life for the thoughts that's in his head / Sit back in that chair and think it over, Judge, one

Literally every Kickstarter project I've backed was for the printing of a finished work. (Mostly board games and books, plus one album and one movie.) Your suggestion defeats the reason those projects were ever kickstarter, and Kickstarter

That only makes sense for tech kickstarters. Most kickstarter projects don't have any R&D to speak of, and anyhow many production delays are the result of the manufacturing logistics that a wildly successful kickstarter results in. Take

How do you mean, they don't offer that kind of separation? It's very easy to back a project without ordering the product; simply don't select a backer reward level when confirming your pledge.
