It was a self-fulfilling prophecy to launch the iPhone mini during Covid, offer it 2 years, and say no one wants them. Especially when the SE proved people have no aversion to a normal sized phone meant for human hands.

It's a self-fulfilling prophecy to launch the iPhone mini during Covid, offer it 2 years, and say no one wants them. The haters dismiss the SE point by saying it was the price, not size. But it does prove that no one avoids phones due

I used to think the same thing. And ya TouchID is handy sometimes over FaceID. But FaceID overall between the two if one has to choose is superior. If you haven't lived with it daily yet, I wouldn't let that stop you from getting

My iPhone 12 mini is my iPhone Pocket. Still using it and holding onto it as long as I can.

I’m also an 80s DOS user. Commodore actually before that. And yes Linux Mint is the standout. There are people in the Linux community though that resist it for various reasons. It’s like trying to round up cats. I read all of the comments h

You understand the situation better than most do here. The anti-cheat technologies built into competitive games is huge for me. I don’t enjoy gaming without it. That’s a big statement. When you simply don’t enjoy competitive gaming unless i

Not surprised to hear that it’s the trend. It’s been going on for quite some time. I used to work for a very large Canadian multinational and HR told me they only hire US/Canadian lead developers. The rest were to be from Bulgaria. Thi

You may want to just find something else to do. The industry is not going to get any better going forward anyway. I’m a full-time web developer that works from home. But I’m joining the pipefitters union to do HVAC work. I need the life ins

So do those nest thermostats. They just reverted back to being a thermostat from 1966.

So is my dirt cheap Amazon smart thermostat. Many years. No issues. The difference is it’s just not from Google.

I have an Amazon smart thermostat. I don’t worry about it being bricked. I’ve had it for years. I did look at the Google stuff. But I’m generally moving away from products from certain companies going forward. Namely, Samsung and Google. I

He didn't really cite a source on his huge claim that it had "everything it needed" in all cases. A camera can't see in the dark, or through fog. I want lidar. But the minimum setup without lidar would be cameras, radar,

Multiple things can be true at the same time you realize. Some problems, such as insufficient AI can have a larger effect on safety, but more data to work with as well as train on always wins. You want lidar. You keep insisting that cameras

Except a car isn’t a human. That’s the mistake Elon Musk made and the same one you’re making here. Not to mention that humans driving with cameras only is absolutely pathetic. The amount of accidents that occur that are completely avoidable

I don't know what you mean by this. For one, I wasn't trying to sell it to you. I don't care what you use at all. Two, I'm using it on Debian.

No one is pro diversity. Including Google, Microsoft and Apple. They just think it’s good publicity to make more money. And getting women and immigrants put to work drops drive down wages. More workers equals less pay. You can see this by h

I just swear that soda pop and junk food tasted better in the 80s. Doritos are actually still pretty solid. But it seems like everything that’s using high fructose corn syrup simply does not taste like the stuff did when they were using can

Interesting litmus test and response. I'm not here to convince you. I'm not actually racist. I like Indians and think they're wonderful people. This topic is really about an injustice, not really a focus on population groups.
