Tldr: He has MMA training. People who pretend they can fight using martial arts that have no full contact sparring or resisting opponents stand no chance. Some have fooled themselves into thinking they can fight. They get their ass kicked

The layouts can be whatever you want. The keycaps are interchangeable and the layout is dictated by the firmware flashed to an Arduino.

I say it all the time here, but there was a cool language called clay which was a great redesign of C with modern C++ techniques. It is not kept up anymore. It has an elegant design that, while not perfect, has a lot to offer. http:/

I don't even know where to start with this. Propylene glycol is used extensively in food, cosmetics and even eye drops. It is the solution in a fog machine. It takes an extraordinary amount to cause harm to someone when administered i

Vaping what specifically? I have a hard time believing that anyone is getting chemical burns from vaping propylene glycol.

I think this points to a difference that I don't see highlighted enough - influential doesn't mean best. If you are stuck on a plane are you going to watch citizen kane or something from the last couple of years. What about an Aki

It doesn't need to be unsafe or unoptimal, just use indices into flat memory instead of pointers.

ISPC can actually produce C++ that is full of intrinsics. Also you can try it out already in godbolt.org - ISPC had been around for a number of years now and works very well.

They are absolutely worried about Linux support. All high end computer graphics in large companies are done using Linux.

This has been done but holds very few advantages. Nuke and davinci resolve already run on linux. In either case local bandwidth and multiple cores are the biggest factors. Transferring images back and forth to a server is a waste of time

At some point surely there is a line when the whole headline is 'this is bad, I made my own'. That would be like me saying 'modern OSs are bad, I made my own' and it actually being a new task bar for a Linux distributio

I don't know who would downvote this. There are lots of articles about someone creating their own browser and they all turn out to be a variation of 'they didn't create their own browser, they made their own skin'.

There is nothing about low discrepancy sampling being a recent development. This article is about recent research and suggesting anyone involved would imply that one of the most trivial aspects of rendering is somehow new is total nonsense

I hope you don't think that the people dealing with issues like this are anywhere near the discussions on DRM of digital video. It isn't as if MPAA board members are also in a basement somewhere editing films.
