Not that I approve the Debian decision here, but calling it "classic" seems a bit of a stretch? Do you have many more examples to call that a "classic" Debian security behaviour?

I believe it's an effort to promote Linux, to get more market share. Linux users aren't interested to see potential adopters go for BSD instead of joining their ranks. On every forum, every discussion, there is at least one guy sa

Lol, at that point I would just run Windows... What is the threshold where you are basically running Windows, and you have Linux installed just for some internet vanity? Play games? Run Windows games with Wine/Proton Coding? VSCode App

That's a weird keyboard, some computer specs and a weird linux distro... that's going to cost you $2k. $100 to have the rights to reserve one? That's really nice of them. Well... Good luck guys!

Most people don't want to troubleshoot computer issues. Most people don't care about what "OS" is installed. Linux on the desktop is a nerd wet dream, and you should be aware of that.

.Net has Blazor for WebUI. I don't ask you to judge if you like it, I'm just saying that you can totally make a professional WebUI within the dotnet stdlib.

I was going to tell my team that we didn't hear about a NPM supply chain attack for about 2 weeks and that we should celebrate. I guess it's not going to happen...

That's what I thought. That's exactly how a "normal" user would ask such things. I am not a Microsoft fan, or copilot, or even an A.I. fan, but the article seems to try too hard to find a problem here. That's not li

Holy shit dude, all those years I was dead sure it was open source and all. Like a "proof that open source is working", a show case of a good quality, open source project. Oh well, time to strike that one off the list.
