This isn't special to robotics, though. Folks making software are generally not the folks that lost their jobs because of software either.

And has meant that some professions are basically dead and fewer people are in lots of jobs. The folks that lose jobs aren't generally qualified for the jobs that opened and aren't always even located in the same country. And that

I have a car over 20 years old. I don't spend much money on maintenance. I don't have a car payment, taxes are very low, and insurance is decently cheap. Had it for a few years, have replaced brakes and some minor things. Didn

This hasn't been an issue in years. I have a bank app. It's simple and works. Before that, they had a website. It's easy to check a balance in the morning and use that to guide you. Before the internet was widespread, banks

People are injured by celebratory fire all the time. That said, getting hit by a stray bullet of any sort is very very rare, which is the reason the stories stick in your head. Children get killed and injured (or injure others) by playing w

Did we, though? I am just not convinced. A lot of cheap stuff through history that was definitely not made to last. I had paper dolls as a child. So did my mother. Probably her mother too - I'd ask, but she's dead. How long do

Would you rather hear about being too poor to go anywhere else? I'm from Indiana, lived there until I was 35 and family still lives there. "Too tired" is an apt descriptor, though. "Too Poor" or not having opportuni

I'm pretty sure no phone does this on its own - if it did, people on public transport would have complaints. It is probably a setting on your phone (driving mode, perhaps) or a setting when you pair it with your car.
