Yes it really does. I use both Linux and Windows daily and for most office and gaming tasks windows is much much easier to setup and get going in. I say this as a technical/person/engineer and not just an average user.

Look into Apollo, which is a fork of Sunshine. This works flawlessly for monitors plugged into the host, and clients using a different resolution

Why not just dual boot into windows for your gaming needs? It works out of the box more than Linux (if you ignore all the ads, windows updates, and so on). Alternatively stream over local wired connection using apollo

It's clear from the comics that Calvin's dad is just having a bit of fun with his son by telling him funny lies about how the world works. It's not about tricking kids, it rather about playing a mostly harmless prank on them.

Very cool! I was thinking of doing this. One question, what made you choose polychrome dsp over something like neuraldsp?

There's plenty of evidence that Ferrari operates on the economics of scarcity, not innovation. Here's just one article from this year: https://medium.com/@moschovakiscapital/ferrari-at-332-the-wo... Ferrari m

Overall market value doesn't have anything to do with how innovative a business may be. Ferrari has a high value because it has a very large profit margin, due to their deliberate low supply and high sale prices. That doesn't mean

Agree with OP. Not because of the accessibility API argument but because of the "small things" like Microsoft office, drivers, the sound not working out of speakers but working with headphones. These small problems have gone unfix

When was the last time the world talked about Ferrari like this? They've been stagnant for that long
55.
by BrokenCogs 4mo ago
It's completely different from the other Ferrari models (much like the Cybertruck for Teslas)
56.
by BrokenCogs 4mo ago
the world is shifting to EVs and Ferrari doesn't want to get left behind. It's making a bold statement with this model

by BrokenCogs 4mo ago
It's a Veblen good. The point of the Ferrari is it's high price point. People turn their heads to look at a Ferrari because it's expensive, not because it's a practical and reasonably priced luxury car (eg some lower end

IMO this is a risk worth taking. The Ferrari brand is rather stagnant and not innovative. They need to do something like this to drive more attention and sales. Even if this particular model does not sell well they can refine and make bette
