I originally created this resumé last summer and wasn't able to land a new job. I recently edited it in applying for a new job, I'm curious if there's something more I should be saying or doing in trying to get meaningful work. I'm mainly i

Problem not solved. A savvy attendant just checks the tickets on the end of each roll. If it's a winner, go ahead and buy it. Otherwise, wait until a customer buys the loser first.

I understand what you're saying. The human condition is relative. But I've lived where I had no spending power, no paycheck for another week, and only a pack of ramen in the house. I might not have been dying, but I was certainly suffering.

Good point. In addition to being self-centered and somewhat mean-spirited, Scoble's post was inaccurate.

Eating a healthy diet is unquestionably better than eating a cereal-and-ramen diet. Being able to afford a better diet does lessen human suffering, even if that person isn't a starving child in Sudan. Being bummed out that someone's life

Is this guy fucking serious? No longer will we hear stories like we heard from Airbnb’s founders of surviving off of cereal or "ramen." That bums me out, because struggle and sacrifice makes for great stories. I'm sorry that you're bumme

You're saying that "g0atbutt" is bathroom humor? You know that goats butt things, right?

Reading the title, I was really excited thinking this was going to be a Boondock-Saints-esque vigilante justice mission against patent trolls. Needless to say, I was sorely disappointed after clicking through.

The main thing was the frequent use of "where" in place of "were." Another thing that jumped out at me was the omitted words in the introduction. If you'd like me to go back and proofread, I'd be happy to. Thanks for an insightful article.

"I did a bad job" Proofreading this blog post. I'm not usually a pedant, but this post repeatedly made basic grammar errors. It detracted and distracted from what was otherwise a great article.

Oh, my bad. I assumed the titles matched. I guess based on our informal English usage comparison, it is likely that the author and submitter are the same person.

The author is pretty obviously either a non-western or a non-native English speaker. Read some of the picture captions.

That would actually be a great April Fools' Day joke for Google, to change a few obscure indexes, especially one related to April Fools'.

I disagree. If you're concerned about how you're doing on Google, it makes sense to have to go to Google to find out.

The shortsightedness of people worried about fewer jobs because of new technology is ridiculous. If you can build a house for the cost of land and materials only, the cost of living is lowered for everyone. With enough advancement and autom

This seems like a different kind of deception, the kind that one could stumble upon by random chance. Evolution could be responsible for a specific trait leading male cuttlefish to be inclined to pretend to be female. The way to test that w

You make a good point, I would just substitute "choose not to" for "probably can't." The person chose that nicer house and an expensive lifestyle. As a counterpoint, I went to Virginia Beach for a week on a whim at a time when I had no real
