I purchased a Dell XPS13 (the late 2013 version) recently. It's fantastic. My only complaint in Linux is that the palm rejection isn't working all that well.

I really enjoyed the Daemon series. In a similar vein, you might want to try William Hertling's Avogadro Corp.series.

There was a really nice lightning talk this year at Libreplanet about increasing accessibility in free software. One of the key takeaways was that good text is important. All of the widgets should be labeled appropriately otherwise there is

Unless you spent 9 hours on an airplane writing the presentation and head directly to the customer site to give the presentation.

Unfortunately I don't think that Beacon is doing all that well. They recently had some layoffs.

I was burnt by Kickstarter when a project didn't deliver. In this case, it was obvious fraud -- the guy walked away with about $15k. There was an article written about it: http://www.crowdfundinsider.com/2013/02&#x

Even my Fitbit one can irritate my skin when I wear it on my waistband. I attributed it to the rubbery material having a large amount of friction when it moves across skin.

I just checked my Debian installation and these certificates are there in the default IceDove (Firefox) installation, however they are marked as Untrusted. I believe this is intended behavior. These certificates also seem to have expired in

Interesting. Can you provide a checksum of the ISO you used to install?

The power needed to keep the analog comparator going will probably be higher than keeping the 32kHz clock running.

Fair enough! The one over here has a pretty solid frozen vegetable section and reasonably good fresh produce ($0.99 unripe avocados!!!). I'd estimate that they have about 20ft of shelf space for fresh stuff.

Would you consider Aldi's to not be a real supermarket? We have one in my neighborhood in MA and you can find passably good produce there. It's certainly not as nice of an experience as the Whole Foods, but you still find organics

I can confirm the awesomeness of the coffee produced by this machine. They were setup at Maker Faire NYC for the last two years giving away free coffee. The robotic pourover was excellent! Best of luck to these guys!

I imported smtplib and was able to connect to my SMTP server. I didn't try to send any mail though.

This has been driving me up the wall. I just want a modern replacement for my x61s -- higher res screen and longer battery life. I was thinking about trying to find an x220 to keep in the closet for when this laptop breaks. It's super

This is why I bought another Kindle Keyboard when I lost my previous one. I can't stand touching the screen to turn the page. Page turn buttons are really a must have feature.

I've had good luck using one similar to this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MUSE-AUDIO-X5-MINI-HIFI-USB-DAC-PCM2... It's no frills, but the noise floor seems pretty low and it eliminates any popping sounds.
