No, can't say I have. Does your SSID disappear for some time, or is the 5GHz setting turning off permanently? I've read about routers disabling 5GHz when they detect RADAR, because 5GHz can interfere with that use, and RADAR has h

OP, did you use OCR or find/replace on this email? Every occurrence of "OpenAI" in their message ends in lowercase L, as in OPENAL (with an amusing exception of the name in quotes). That includes the email to reply to. Also,

My feeling is that we won't see another Flash because the artists went to video platforms[1], and the developers are trying to make money on the app stores[2]. Flash was the most attention grabbing medium at the time (because of bandwi

That's a fun problem, here's a half scientific way to solve it: given a dictionary for every pair of languages, the "most succinct word" is the one with the longest definition in other languages. Technical terms like &qu

I really dislike the spare key solution. It forces users to either carry both keys with them all the time (and risk losing them together), or introduces massive friction into the account creation (have to fetch the spare key from whatever s

I think the DNS resolution is only one feature. The screenshot shows active connections, including duration and the local process path. That's a lot more powerful and interesting than a local PiHole.

The problem is that XML is a markup language, which is entirely incompatible with the way data is usually structured in programs. Your example is simple enough, but consider the following: <root> This is some text.

It's also not performing the numeric sort ('-n'), which is arguably the hardest part because it's not a Python built-in. A bad example all around. Here's my attempt[1]: import re lines = list(set(line for

I still see problems with recovery. You either have to (a) carry your primary and backup devices with you and risk losing both; (b) lower your security by using non-hardware-protected keys; or (c) be unable to create new accounts on-the-go.
