Sample size 1 observations: I've been going to chiropractors off and on for a few years. I started with a lower back injury, saw my primary care physician, went to PT, and after a few visits she recommended seeing a chiropractor. It to

If you're into the subject matter, there's the History of the Crusades podcast by Sharyn Eastaugh. In depth content, some levity, and I found it to be totally engrossing.

We "splurged" and bought our kids a 4 GB Celeron Chromebook (as opposed to 2 GB + ARM) last year. They have user profiles for their school account and a personal account. I don't have to worry about random things showing up i

My lower back pain all but vanished after we tried one of those foam mattress startups (we chose Leesa). We bought one for my father a few months later, and it worked for him as well. It takes courage to throw away a 4 year old $3k mattress

I've found there's shirts I like owning but not wearing. No rhyme or reason, they're not damaged or stained. I just don't like wearing them.

Double-edged sword. 1. Running your own sync service [can be, is] expensive. 2. Relying on [Google Drive, Dropbox, Box.com, Amazon Cloud Drive] is less expensive but devastating if they vanish. So many iOS developers jumped on Dropbox that

Pure speculation: 28nm masks and manufacturing are significantly cheaper than 16FF and newer, which likely helps meet the cost of HoloLens at the volume they're forecasting. Moving to 16ff or Intel's 14nm allows more for processin

IANAL, but I assume (perhaps incorrectly) that the fab needs a license to create a chip containing an ARM processor in it given that it needs the raw GDS2 database that describes the IP in the detail required to manufacture it.
