Today QA is not manual testing. Today QA is talking with product/UX, taking the end user and customer perspective, wearing a quality head end to end over features an cross devices, doing explorative testing for stuff that does not make

My wife has a Nexus 5 which is cheap to repair and replace parts. She's so happy with the phone she doesn't want a new one (Shame Google stopped makeing excellent, upgradeable, repairable and cheap smart phones).

I wonder how your comment would look like if your wife or husband would die due to faulty Tesla seat belts. There is value in blameless post mortems, in openness and how you handle a crisis. It is not the most important thing though. The mo

This thread is hilarious. Tesla has quality problems on seat belts (!) and the thread is almost absolute positive focusing on how well they do the recall instead of focusing on the quality issues of a security (!) feature. I wonder what Tes

My prediction for the future: Ad blockers will load ads but not display them as more and more websites will block visitors who block them.

My answer was to your question: "What header does your browser send to my server informing me that you are blocking ads so that I know to deny you my content?" 1. "Did you just make it up?" -> No. 2. "Which ad bl

Not reading them is the same as blocking them. To gain moral high ground people who compare adblocking to theft are required to read every ad on every website they encounter. The moral distinction between "I do not read ads" and &

@nwhitmore: No. I'm not proposing circumventing copyright measures. But I do not read ads a website presents. I would not steal a magazine form a news stand or break a lock to get a magazine. But I throw away ad supplements before I re

I don't agree. If I get a magazine which is mostly not financed by my payment but the ads, and rip out all ads and throw them away, or throw the ad supplements away and not read them, is it theft? If it is theft blocking (aka not readi

Main reason for ad-blockers for me: They try to distract you from reading the text you came for. While in print ads don't (can't) do this. Online they open to the whole page after some time, they constantly animate things to draw

This was aimed at Facebook, but is a joke: 1. It's aimed at the US while the Uk (EU) and France (EU) do the same thing. 2. Facebook will just add an opt in checkbox and everyone who wants to share cat videos will opt in.
