Agree. I've been yearning for more insightful posts and there's just not alot of them out there these days

it's a valid question and one that everyone should be asking, unless ofcourse it's for fun which is what I believe this is.

Not to discount your experience, but I dont understand what's interesting about this. You could always build a programming language yourself, given enough time. Programming languages' constructs are well represented in the trainin

agree on it potentially being a big market, just not sure it's big enough for multiple unicorn startups trying to justify their valuation. competing on price, especially when code review is the main bottleneck seems misguided imo

The vision of Bluesky isnt compatible with it existing in a capitalistic society.

It's pretty obvious. Lots of LLM signs. Short sentences that keep repeating the same idea. It's not x, it's this. In fact, the entire blog seems to be LLM-generated.

Most, if not the entire article reads to me as AI-generated which just makes me uninterested in reading further.

Agree, even through gemini cli, gemini 3 has just been underwhelming. You can clearly tell, the agentic harness/capability wasnt native to the model at all. Just patched on it

Agree with this except that spark is good or worth it. Absolutely not for $200, it's a step or two below opus 4.6 for actual reasoning.

Eh, there's some truth it both. The truth is somewhere in the middle of the spectrum. Distribution absolutely matters, often times even more than the product. And vice versa

You cant. You can only focus on building your own product and making it durable and just much better

Did anyone actually think their sole purpose as an org is anything but make money? Even anthropic isnt any different, and I am very skeptical even of orgs such as A12

Im not sure what you consider successful. They've been struggling to get market share vs azure, and the product isnt that good. lots of rough edges, and piss poor support

they did have a late start in terms of productionizing the models. It's definitely improved but there was a time where Gemini and the associated tools werent as good as claude/oai

The human brain seeks novelty and excitement. It’s why new projects are always exciting, new companies to join etc. This obviously extends to most trends. Cloud, crypto, AI. Obviously, there’s some utility(debatably with crypto), but overal

Ignoring the fact that most of the blog post is written by an LLM, I like that they provide a python sdk. I dont believe vercel does for their sandbox product.
