I hope AMD prodcues something like Skull Canyon when they release their Zen based APU's. If Zen is competitive this should be really nice since the GPU's from AMD are better. Ideally with a higher tier version that uses HBM so the

Do you remember if this was with C++ or Python?

Yeah, the bandwith problem is already noticeable with AMD's current APU's even though they use small GPU cores compared to discrete grapics cards. Faster DDR3/4 memory brings noticeable FPS improvements. If they already had H

I remember a rumour about a HPC-APU from AMD which would combine 16 Zen cores with a Vega GPU and HBM (High Bandwith Memory) as a L4 cache. I know a L4 cache would be much slower than a L3 cache, but I'm curious, could HBM as a L4 cach

AMD stated for a while (march or so) that they maybe have small shipments in december, but the bulk of shipments will realy only start in Q1 2017. Anyway, the first benchmark is promising, and I hope Zen can also keep up with Broadwell perf

Interesting, I have never used Haskell, only read tutorials and articles about it, but I don't get why the Foldable version should be harder for a beginner. Instead of explaining that [a] is a List of a's, and then explaining what

Yes, idiomatic C++ which uses the safety features that C++ has to offer, as far as I understand. Not the raw performance that C++ can give you. Just wanted to point that out. Source: http://pcwalton.blogspot.de/2010/12&

If you have the money you could take a look at the Biomorph Maxo series. Some guys at Nvidia have those. [1] You could also take a look at the competition. [2][3] [1] www.youtube.com/watch?v=rh58Ee1Sw-U&t=7m14s [2] http:/&#x2

Yeah, I use a height adjustable standing desk too, and can recommend them to anyone that has to work all day long at a desk. Some studies suggest that one should sit 50%, stand 25% and walk 25% of the day when working in an office environme
