From what I know they don't impement ssh-agent. Do you consider ssh-agent as another attack vector or additional security? If the sandbox is compromised to have file system access, a process can read your keys from ~/.ssh as well as chrome

And guess what, they're also two of the most widely installed software. The truth is that sandboxes are effective in mitigating the attacks, because they add another level of security. Even safari added a sandbox a couple years ago.
