It's TechCrunch...I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.

And the answer to that is, probably not. But it's one of the best we know currently and until a compelling replacement comes along, it'll be used. ^_^

I don't see why this is the end of the world really. Sounds like it was just a basic depreciation, but frankly I don't see why anyone would expect it remain online forever.

As someone who works in support on a daily basis, I can vouch that being nice makes everything go a whole lot smoother.

The moment you pay them, you're endorsing it. Sure, make your public "whoops" statements, but at the end of the day, it's your fault for hiring them and you get the rep hit as well.

Do the right thing? This is GoDaddy for heavens sake. They've never heard of it.

But they didn't, as they stated they didn't. At the end of the day, as Namecheap points out, it's against the ICANN rules to prevent whois's and frankly I wish ICANN had the teeth to trash GoDaddy's registrar status.

No, it generated a lot of people writing Ars Technica off. You notice they stopped? They didn't like their analytics taking the plunge.

Say good bye to your users then. :) BTW, theft means something is missing. Ad money which doesn't yet exist isn't theft.

Disgusting idiotic court system. If you're arrested guess what, it's public record. The fact that you can find that online is perfectly legitimate and frankly if you don't want people to know about it, don't do it.

All I see is a tiny animation on a random YouTube account with no FPS counter...
