I've seen this image a bunch as well, and was almost sure it was from a game/demo I remembered on the Commodore64. I saw the comments in this thread saying it was from "Sieze the Day", so I spent a few minutes trying to find the Commodore6

I haven't done this yet, but I'm guessing you could just branch off of master, and create a "home" or "work" branch. To me that might be better than using setup scripts for the various environments, and keeping it all in one branch (like I'
