If something like this was present on a web app it would have 10 different tests so it wouldn't happen. How come the car/infotainment system isn't subject to the same requirements like other softwares? Is there something obvi

I think that's the idea of the project, dip switches are used on boards to select a configuration (since you only need to do it on setup)... speaking of which, i wonder if a jumper version is planned for the IDE HDD nostalgia.

At my last job we (InfoSec) had the devs fill out "ownership" forms for when they want to include something third-party into the product. Other than forcing the team to do due diligence on the third-party it also made them respons

I've also had the same problem. For a while i could get good recommendations/reviews by adding "reddit" to the query as i could find good information there, however i think that the sites have caught up on that and now
