If you're an old timer, you expect [] to index into an array, and you definitely do not expect it to do a lookup in a map/dict. Older languages just didn't include a dict-like structure in the language (technically, even C+

Perhaps opencode zen isn't using z.ai as a provider?

I use GLM-5.1. It's good enough for personal stuff. It doesn't compare to the latest Opus I use at work. You can certainly argue I don't need Opus for work, but there is clearly a difference. Also, at least with z.ai, GLM-5

So you would be equally critical of overloading [] for maps? Sorry, hard for me to relate, as I've overloaded [] (in, say, Python) to make life easy on everyone. People loved it. I hope you're aware that there is a long standing d

Don't quibble on details. The point is that as long as he didn't profit from the bets, he is free to mess around that way. This isn't share price manipulation.

As long as he didn't place any bets, I think what he did is totally fine. If I find out my friends placed bets on whether I'll say X tomorrow, I'm not obligated to act as if I didn't know.

It's not about the length l. The point of a paragraph is to convey one idea. Some of the paragraphs don't do that.

I've done both the rebase and the merge flows in different jobs. I just don't see the fuss about rebase. Merging just works fine. Edit: OK, I realized later that I'm not really responding to the usual git rebase -i use case.
