Definitely this. The fact that you have managed to keep yourself going investing for 15 years is impressive. Put some of what you did on the resume / CV and it will be much less empty. What types of models? Did you you data analysis? T

That does seem quite bad. The article probably should have lead with that. I also don't want random recruiting firms trying to invite me to DM them on Slack all day long. They fill up my inbox enough as it is. Just another avenue for s

You can certainly make the argument that he was a bad guy, but I don't know if I can continue to draw that conclusion. He built that house over 30 years ago for $60M. While that is certainly excessive, its not like he just bought a $20

And even if they did, would that knowledge help reproduce it on modern equipment? Going to have to rebuild all of the tooling and processes anyways.

For anyone unaware Lockheed was hacked in 2007 and the hackers got away with technical documentation related to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. The hack was attributed to hackers in China. So it is thought that the development of the Chinese

I have many times found things more expensive on Amazon than other sources. Most of that I put down to shipping being factored into their prices, vs added in at the end for online retailers or just being aggregated across the whole inventor

Right, I was just focusing on US access where Coinbase focuses on. And sadly Binance.com is not (easily) accessible from the US. And yeah, Kraken seems to be a better option from that standpoint, just have not built the level of trust that

Yes Binance.us has better fees, but CB has the benefit of scale $1.3B in BTC/USD vs just $55M on Binance.us. And I think CB is riding on that a lot. There is still tons of room for disruption there, just think a large number of folks t

DEX's are certainly nice, but at least for the time being if you have any significant volume of trading the the actual swap fees on the DEX will eat more of your gains than a centralized exchange will. Before factoring in Ethereum gas

Some offerings like GMail, Search, and YouTube are viewed as safe. Others I think are likely avoided more. And probably end up a self fulfilling prophecy. No one uses it because it will be killed, so its killed because no one uses it. It is

I found this site earlier from a twitter thread, and one of the replies was for https://driveandlisten.herokuapp.com/ which is pretty cool too. Less locations but you get driving video along with the radio stations.

They say the issue is with syncing multiple offline edits. But for solo its overkill. I love all the options is has, and its been good for me for the most part, but I just want a solo mode for myself. If you aren't using the DB feature

Isn't Credit Carma owned by Intuit who also owns Turbotax? This is very odd to me that they do this, where one side is free and the other is not?

If you regularly use Spyder, what is it specifically that you like about it? I had pretty much thought it was just a tool for people who normally work in R and Matlab to ease into python. Which I totally understand, but is there more to it?

Our performance gains have primarily been in serialization, so response times are way better. It used to take multiple seconds for some things to serialize in DRF, and down to sub seconds. Its like 4x faster in that regard. Yeah, meant Pyda

I would think you could adapt most of it. 'Performers' just becomes 'People'. And 'Scenes' are still that, just different sets of keywords. I think the harder part is just getting all the data tagged properly.
