The difference is the peer review. If something is published in Nature, you can reasonably trust that it is legitimate science, and not a random person with no real credentials. Its an interesting cycle. People publish their best work in a

It should be noted that this is an unsubstantiated HUMINT report. They explicitly state they have not evaluated the information. The people who write these have to pass on the information they receive, even if it is completely unbelievable.

I have a Schlage on my house, and just changed the batteries (4 AA) after a year. They read as '60%' in SmartThings, but they were getting sluggish. You could hear that it did not have enough torque to do its job as well.

I am sure there is an auto lock logic in there. Like the driver cannot open the next lock if the last one is still open. Or like my lock automatically locks after 30 seconds no matter what. So even if they forget it will be fine.

I am not sure how well it would work to even get Linux on it. I thought they had a fairly locked down boot loader. And no way there is a good driver for the screen release. On the other hand, I have never even contemplated dual booting it b

No one said anything about additional days of leave. If the company gives 5-10 days sick leave (or whatever their policy is) then it is perfectly fine to take said leave to take care of a sick child. If you don't want people taking it,

Except discriminating against familial status is illegal (in the US and apparently Ireland, at the least). And sick leave is sick leave, if I have to take off because I am sick, or my kid is sick there is no difference. Emergencies happen,

So, I am wondering if using MD2D, now that there is no lock in to VUDU only, is actually a viable service. Especially if you can take a DVD, upgrade it to HD with VUDU ($5), and then get it in 4k from iTunes (assuming that movie now has a 4
