I experimented with Windows Remote Desktop for a couple days, it worked fine for coding, even with multi monitor. It was definitely a noticeable lag but didn't bug me too much. But I probably should have remoted into the desktop from t

I have played with Voicemeter for this. You can stream the audio back and forth between machines. And one of them is always connected to the speakers. And you can mix between the two as well. https://www.vb-audio.com/Voiceme

A little confused, you say you don't want to disrupt the containers, but https://github.com/bottlerocket-os/bottlerocket#updates seems to indicate you still have to reboot for the update to take hold?

I like the sound of Application at least. Or 'In practice'?And Construction does make sense when I think about it more. Not sure I can think of a better name at least.

You said in other comments that you used JupyterBook to make it. Would you consider open sourcing that so that others can contribute?

I think there is a balance to be struck. You should totally use numpy for the arrays and basic math applications. But say on the first example you use `self.X.T` what does `.T` even do? Not asking you to go into all the details, just more c

I went straight to the "code" section. Didn't know there was stuff in the "construction" section too. I would definitely consider not using sklearn for anything other than data sets. You already defined them, why no

I got one in October because my old chair at home was dieing. I am so glad I did, its way better than the expensive chairs we have at the office, and less than half the price. I think its probably because it just has more adjustments, and I

Its interesting. I don't have experience with a large variety of cities, but Seattle and DC I am quite familiar with. They do not feel the same to me at all. Lots of history and monuments, and there are still pretty strict height restr

Basically just a complex permission model based on relationships. Much better handled with a subquery. Mostly on is. I don't blame the ORM entirely, but it was more joins than necessary too.

Yeah, the main improvement was seen even before playing with orjson. It did help too I think, but only started it yesterday so haven't actually profiled the two side by side. To have real numbers. And it uses SQLAlchemy under the hood.

Yeah, you do end up defining everything more than once, once for SA, and then for pydantic. Create, Read, and Update may all be different pydantic models as well. They are for defining what comes in and out of the actual API. Your create re

That is quite interesting. There are a lot of things like management, tests, and such that I love and miss from django. Going to have to really think about what I think of this. Edit: Although, now that I think a little more its not that su

Yeah, FastAPI uses SQLAlchemy under it. Along with pydantic to define schemas with typing. And then just started tinkering with orjson for the json serialization. Seems to be the fastest library at the moment. I have also been experimenting

FastAPI uses Pydantic under it for python objects. And we have been tinkering with orjson for the actual json serialization, since it appears to be the winner in json serialization at the moment.

We used `silk` a lot to profile the app. And basically all the time was being spend inside django somewhere between getting the data from the DB and spitting out the response. We would have things like 15ms in the DB, but 250ms to actually
