Twitter offers a chronological feed, the little star thing on the upper right. Works well to get rid of endless scrolling if you don't follow hundreds of people.

I had no clue AoC is a one-man-band project. With that in mind, how diversified are these puzzles? Wouldn't it be repetitive for people doing it year over year or is Eric one excessively creative individual?

Main reason I'm still with Windows 10 (perma-watermarked editions) on my laptop and my PC is pure inertia. I've been telling myself I should switch to Linux if only to learn (am a work-in-progress coder), but have procrastinated i

I'm not too political/ideological about it, but Alphabet kept it's G in the acronym, Meta will keep it's F. I may revisit once they don't get >90% of their revenue from Google Services and Facebook + IG. But I do

How does it compare with a T430-like Thinkpad? I bought my second-hand T430s for 200 CAD some 5 years ago, still working well for it's purpose and I didn't bother moving to a lighter OS (am on Win10).

Of all the FAAMG out there, Microsoft arguably has the most diverse revenue streams, I don't see what's surprising with them going after another market (let alone payments). It's just another layer for monetization and doesn&

Plus, "M" and "N" can often be hard to disambiguate, having "Mu" and "Nu" just adds another layer of confusion.

Ha, didn't know there was a Xi between "N" and "O" in the Greek alphabet. I don't wonder why they skipped it.

Really? Contacting the CDC after finding "smallpox"-labelled vials in a vaccine research lab sounds like the responsible thing to do and completely unrelated to MBAs.

Point stands, but I'm not sure how you get that much for FB and AAPL. In 2020 (4 quarters) they made, per employee, ~$1.2M and $0.7M in gross profit, $1.5M and $1.9M in revenue. I didn't cross check the table but did get the same

Using Firefox or Chrome solves this problem as you don't get full quality for Netflix on them, hence there's no address collision as you resort to using Edge (or else?) for Netflix.
