The second comment on the post: Of course proportional fonts can be read faster. That's not the point. Programming uses lots of non-standard glyphs, has meaningful syntax (eg. parens, brackets), and often meaningful whitespace. You can real

Am I wrong in thinking Google has a simple base argument in that recreating Youtube without Google's ads is a bad thing for the future of their site? It's a shame that a legitimate site may have brought the issue to light, but it's always o

I think that those of us who actually use email for communication and check it several times a day are simply numb to the pain. At this point, I think I could spot a piece of spam tip-toeing through the brush at 300 yards.

I always find it curious when the number of comments on an article exceed that of the point value. It leads me to suspect that users get angry over the article for some reason. To add to the discussion, however, I knew the answer because I

You call it humble; I call it encouraging. I've been considering developing an Android application since I got my HTC Hero about a month ago. The only reason I haven't is because... well, I have other things to do. The potential to eat for

Primarily a Windows user, but I use Gentoo on occasion. It doesn't get a lot of face time since I'm not doing the work that I originally installed it for anymore.

I have heard so little about Android development that it leads me to believe it's nonexistent or extremely painless. The only main stream story I even remember hearing was the malware Google had to use the kill switch on.

"God" is also sprinkled fairly liberally around some common phrases. "Oh my God" comes to mind, shouldn't be hard to think of a dozen others on your own. I can't stay if these conditions are accounted for, of course.

I can't help but draw parallels in my bind between this and being the "guy who can fix your computer." I don't want to, and I don't know why you think I want to do it for free.

I feel the exact same way about posting code into online pretty printers. It's not that I'm putting sensitive information out there, it's just a strange kind of trust issue.
