Thousands of smaller transactions. You are buying USB keys with a set amount of Crypto. They can just assume 10% scam ratio and rise price by that.

This is not the value of the car. This is the value of YOUR car. A car you know and the car you have driven. In case of buying a new car, you cannot be sure that the car will just die a month after buying.

What if your car will completely break down? You need to add the cost of the car to your valuations for this to be viable.

Probably not, but the method of "fetch" should be possible - either it lists resources, grabs variables, grabs whole images etc.

This would be easier to control if Android would allow users an option to see historically what resources the app requested and how it processed them (just list them, used them, processed them).

Maybe make scoring much, much clear. Like, add a popup next to scores with a breakdown on how the score was calculated.

The issue I am having with this is that you can easily see that something broke the sight line between car and lights on slight left. Mind that - the video is not only of pretty low resolution but also it is not giving out proper "blac

FYI you can get a Tidal subscription for like $5 for 6 months on the secondary market easily. Once it runs out, you can just buy a new one. It is a good solution for people on a tight budget.

Can HN users share their experience with B2? I wanted to use them as a backup backup solution since their pricing is close to what getting your own leased server would be. Also, are there ready solutions for B2 and incremental backups of Ub

I think Optimizely is burning an important bridge of theirs. But thanks to decisions like this, small companies can raise on the back of SMB market. Optimizely picked stability over the crazy growth (and fluctuations in revenue).

I think it is accepted wisdom for small SaaS startups, not a universal knowledge. For a company like Optimizely with the established user base, possibly it is smarter to go after 100 enterprise customers, rather than 10,000 mixed ones. I pe

My opinion is not binary. While I understand your point of view, I think, that there is much more optimized and valuable revenue models for SaaS startups.

You cannot compare billion dollars established a company, existing years ago, to today's SaaS startup. It is like comparing solutions form 2010 car to 2016 car. Web market changes fast.

I think this is a non-problem now. As of now, you want to grow your user base as much as possible. Since all your users are paying, you are not carrying a dead weight of freemium. Build up user count by any means possible. Only once you wil

Great idea, surely it will help people stuck. This can be a good way to start a day for beginner SaaS owners. The button animation is a bit "crunchy" in Chrome 64.

LinkedIn, for example, would be one in my opinion. The channels for SMB are smaller and harder to see for businesses with IPO in their minds, but forum boards and business groups are amazing for this. I was testing once an idea and proposed

I would never go for .87 as it is confusing number and forces the user to go out of the comfort zone. I would always suggest going after 9 or 7 at the end, and the full dollar. I have quite an experience in pricing, and prices ending with &

I have checked your pricing page, and I think you are penalizing larger users without trying even to hide that. You require large users to pay more for the same functionality, that $5/mo user gets. I would create 2 plans: 1) Regular, $

I think the times have changed, and methods of survival changes also. We can compare previous behemoths, and their lack of actionable strategy to survive, with current times. I think we are entering much more violent times, where huge corpo

Why learning a framework would be the first step in building an ad server? I would actually go against frameworks when building ad server and focus on a custom solution from the ground up.
