Fair point. I do feel the responsibility is on the shoulders of those making claims of the dangers of meat alternatives though. Its easy to paint it as frankenfood, but if you look at the ingredients they are boringly normal

I didn't realise fsync syncs the whole fs. This explains some write cache issues I've been having writing real-time data streams to sometimes slow SD cards. This change would solve my problems rather than create problems. But hey

I have worked as DOP in the past and couldn't agree more. What people need is a guide on how to manipulate the scene in front of the camera using what resources they have, plus a list of cheap or free things they can go get to help. A
