The singular reason I setup Sunshine/Moonlight is because some night as I was drifting off to sleep I remembered SSX Tricky from years (and years) ago and how much fun it was, and couldn't get the desire out until I had it all set

Yep, and I can't disagree with that either, they know their niche (and know they're niche) and are catering to it. Having said that, mikrotik hardware running OpenWRT feels like something that might scratch one of my itches.

The Sunshine/Moonlight combo allowed me to stream emulated, upscaled SSX Tricky (PS2 game) from my desktop to an (at least 7 year-old) Android streaming box as smooth as silk. The only downside was that the game had to be running, visi

That was my thought. It was only released in 2020, and to great performance fanfare. To be 'not able to run it anymore' seems like it could be infested with a number of undesirables.

Wow, wasn't really expecting a response, but got a quick response along with a fix. Thank you, excellent support! Nice detailed write-up too, and great explanatory diagrams.

I can't read the nearly-white (or super-thin font) text on the white background. Is that representative of using mikrotik hardware?

So, TP-Link isn't sold as consumer level devices in stores in the US? It's had the Huawei treatment? It's one of the primary networking electronics brands in Australia.

Yeah, that whole setup stinks. It actually gives a great use case to alternative DNS and decentralized infrastructure. Multiple Internets over Internet time. Sadly. Some damage can't be routed around.
