There is a master password to encryption password storage, cookies, history, etc. They are encrypted at rest, and encrypted before sync.

I forgot to bookmark the link, but I think I read someone cracking the TOTP secret from a couple OTPs with their timestamps known.

I don't think _many_ web sites do this. I travel quite a lot, and sometimes connect without a VPN. Last time I login to Google was from Sri Lanka, and now I'm in Georgia, having g traveled everywhere in Europe and South East Asia

"Because they can" is often the most fitting answer. Even a tiny feature is worthy to start a totally new project with a fancy name.

OpenVPN runs on HTTPS port, and I suppose it's hard to block without DPI. If the VPN runs on a known port like various other VPN protocols do, it should be trivial to block those connections.

I wrote a review ( https://ayesh.me/amazon-lightsail-review ) of Lightsail when it came out. Although the specs are ok in paper, their Network is slow. I still would like to switch to Lightsail because I already use Route53 a

Checkout Laragon (laragon.org). It comes with php, nginx/Apache, mysql/mariadb, etc in a way that you can swap them out. Cmder is nicely integrated and the binaries can be added to PATH, so they will work in Cmder or a y other she

There are many sites that run on PHP 5.2-5.5, which are EOL from PHP.net already. If shameless self-plug is allowed, take a look at my presentation at DrupalCon Vienna: "PHP7+: The why's and the how's": https:/

Most likely, yes. Hhvm (Facebook) is practically a dead/different language for the rest of us. There is not much friction between 7.0,7.1,7.2, etc, so hopefully at least this 7.x share will continue to keep upgrading.

How many of them would have SRI hashes added to them. If this domain eventually expires, and whoever buys it next can make trillions!

The error message in Chrome is loud and clear that it's a problem with the site using Symantec certificates. I'm sure Firefox wants to make the sites more visible (with Chrome dropping Symantec first), so there is more push from u

CloudFlare doesn't say they wouldn't do the same (although I believe they won't). I don't really believe when people claim the registrars registered the domains themselves when they typed it in a search box. For example,

The golden age of Opera was with Opera Mini, where they ran a massive proxy to dumb down desktop web sites for tiny mobile browsers, likely running Java. Everyone used it, loved it, and I bet it cost Opera a lot of money too. After this, Op
