I am freelancing on my 10th year now (never set foot in an office to work), and let me tell you hiring people on freelancer.com, no matter how much the budget is, won't end up good. Fiver and freelancer.com has the worst kind of freela

This should be part of the job, no matter how tight the budget is. Password hashing is quite accessible in almost every language and I can't think of any excuse not to hash passwords.

I wouldn't call myself productive, but I take a great pleasure in Security bounty hunting. My day to day work doesn't leave me a lot of freedom to spend a few hours focused in something.

Looks like a really cool approach for git-tag based release management in a CI level. TIL about git-notes which looks pretty neat.

ACME protocol is fairly straight forward to implement, and you can easily write your own implementation with existing code (OpenSSL, Apache/nginx, etc). With many commercial registrar's, although they offer a valid and long certif

I recently read an HN thread about Romanian ccTLD registry selling domains for lifetime. They have stopped it and asked the former customers to pay up though.

I couldn't recommend namesilo more! They almost always have the slowest price, very close to what the registry charges them. Their UI is dead simple and gets things done well and fast.
